Hi to all!

It's a little bit unfinished but this is my only (for the moment) subject related to your country!
T-55 from Tamiya with MasterClub workable tracks,RB metal barel and markings ripped from a Italeri/Esci kit.
I will put more photos after the wheathering (subtile) and some other little finishes.

Aki

Very nice and clean build, and correct color  :)
Maybe too clean for my taste, it would be better with little more weathering.
Did you painted numbers, or used decals?

mersu

Thank you!
I was satisfied with the color after I consulted some modelers forums.
The tank is clean for the moment. I will apply wheatering (but not to much!) because it will be set in a diorama, I hope!
The markings are from Italeri T-55's decal sheet.

dragos

T-55A had 19xxx and 20xxx serie numbers. Older, russian version had 18xxx serie numbers.

Thank you for the advise, dragos!
I didn't know that! (so I will have to change it!)
But this is one of the reasones that I joined your community! To learn the right things!

airsuba

Nice one, and very good start in Yugoslav or Serbian subjects  :cheers

mersu

Airsuba, thank you for editing my post that the photos could be seen better!  :cheers

Nice, very nice. But you forget to remove expcess these parts from the fixation of fuel barrels.

And what color do you used for painting?

mersu

Yes, they wern't removed because the fuel barells will be put there. I change my mind about the final touch of this beautiful machine. I have to change the registration (like dragos suggested) and to put a little more  washing on it.

Regarding the registration number/tank type -  dragos told me that the T-55A in JNA army had registration starting with 19xxx and 20xxx (I have to solve this!) I used this image for inspiration. I tought that this was an "A" ! (raised coating of the driver's hatch=this suggested an "A")

Source of image: internet!

Aki

You are right, on the pic is "A" version, soviet production model(18xxx)
19xxx was Polish production model
20xxx was Czech production model

JNA had a very few older T-55 version, without anti-radiation protection for hatches.

mersu

Now it's much more clear for me!
Thank you!

With numbers situation is not so clear
For example soviet made tank with 19xxx

Czech made with 19xxx number

Dima-RUS, please tell me, how can you tell wich's one is wich?  :think
